UNITYPLAYER.DLL IS MISSING
If you are receiving any error containing information about a missing unity.dll file when attempting to launch your software, there are two reasons that this could happen.
- You have moved the application outside of its native folder
- The download was interrupted, possibly due to slow download speeds, and has become corrupted
THE CODE EXECUTION CANNOT PROCEED BECAUSE UNITYPLAYER.DLL WAS NOT FOUND.
THE PROGRAM CAN´T START BECAUSE UNITY.DLL IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER
THE CODE EXECUTION CANNOT PROCEED BECAUSE UNITYPLAYER.DLL WAS NOT FOUND.
This error is caused by the moving of the vanspace 3D application outside of its native folder and it will need to be returned.
If you have followed the simple installation steps correctly, as shown in Lesson 2 - Installing your vanspace 3D software, you will have dragged the extracted vanspace 3D folder to your Desktop.
When opening the vanspace 3D folder, your File Manager will appear on the screen with the 5 downloaded files within, the bottom one being the vanspace 3D application or .exe file, which is the software application. These 5 files must remain in this native folder
If you move the vanspace 3D Application outside of this folder, the error will appear
1. Drag and drop the vanspace 3D application back into its native folder
2. Right Click on the application once it is replaced, and select MORE OPTIONS
3. Select CREATE SHORTCUT
4. You can now drag and drop the newly created shortcut to your Desktop (You can also select Pin to Taskbar in the option above if you prefer)
THE PROGRAM CAN´T START BECAUSE UNITY.DLL IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER
You will receive this error if the needed file is empty or has become corrupted during download, which is most likely due to an interruption in the process or low download speeds.
1. Ensure that you have followed the installation steps correctly and that you have dragged the extracted vanspace 3D folder to your Desktop Lesson 2 - Installing your vanspace 3D software
2. Open the vanspace 3D folder now located on your desktop, so that the 5 folders that it contains, appear in File Manager
3. Delete the existing unityplayer.dll file
4. Download the latest UnityPlater.dll file HERE
5. Check your Downloads folder and unzip this new download
6. Once unzipped, move to the vanspace 3D folder on your Desktop.
7. Restart your system, and launch the software.
FAILED TO LOAD MONO?
If you receive this error after completing all of the above steps, reinstall the software, and all files will be presented correctly
