WHEN TO USE EACH FUNCTION
GIZMO CONTROLS | Gizmos appear in 3D software. They are 3D gadgets used with a mouse or trackpad. These are for easy movements rather than accuracy. Within your layout creation, you will use the MOVE Gizmo frequently. VIEW π Move, resize and rotate with the Gizmo |
GIZMO MOVE gives easy movement around the layout. Grab the arrow and move in the direction needed GIZMO SCALE is excellent when the dimensions needed for a particular object, are not yet known to fit a particular space in your layout. GIZMO ROTATE is beneficial when adjusting an object's position within the layout freehand. |
TRANSFORM INPUT to be renamed 'resize and rotate' |

SCALE enter your specific dimensions for any object within your layout. |
OBJECT CONTROL PAD |
Controls are provided within the software to move objects in all directions.

Once an object is highlighted, the Object Control Pad will appear.
Move any highlighted object around your layout using the arrow keys.
Set a specific degree of rotation that you want. |
SPACE BAR ROTATE |
Using this is the easiest way to rotate any object within the layout.

Highlighting an object and clicking Space Bar will rotate the object in 90-degree increments. |
