LOCATE THE MEASURING TOOL 

The Measure Tool feature can be found in the software TOP BAR, and once selected will automatically place your layout into 2D mode. 

The CAMERA CONTROL and CAMERA VIEW PADS are activated so that you can switch to different viewing positions in a 2D environment as needed. 

If wanting to return to 3D mode while the tool is still active, select the 3D option in the centre of the CAMERA VIEW PAD. 

USING THE MEASURING TOOL 

1. Zoom in closely to the area that you would like to measure

2..Once the tool is selected, use the SWITCH AXIS toggle to select the required measuring option

3. Once selected, click your cursor, using your trackpad or mouse, in the position that you would like the tool to start 

4. Click your cursor again in the position where you would like the tool to end. 

Once clicked into the end position, you will notice a red cross appear for deletion if needed, and the measurement is clearly shown. 

USING MULTIPLE TOOLS 

Whilst the Measuring Tool is active, you are able to change your camera view and place multiple tools within the same session. 

SAVING MEASUREMENTS

1. Measurements are saved to the layout only within the same session unless manually deleted by the user. Use the red crosses that will appear once clicked into place to delete.

2. Once you deselect the tool within the TOP BAR, all measurements will hide

3. Select the tool within the same session for all measurements to become visible again.
