LOCATING, DOWNLOADING AND SHARING DESIGNS ON WINDOWS.
All vanspace 3D layouts are stored in a .vs3d format and can be found in a specific vanspace 3D folder on the system where they were created.
Once the vanspace 3D folder is located, you can select SCREENSHOTS to view all Gifs and Images created within the software or select the SAVES folder to locate all saved layouts.

DIRECT PATH
The direct paths are below; however, it is common for the LocaLow folder to be a hidden folder on your system. If this is the case, continue to follow the manual location steps in section LOCATING THE VANSPACE 3D FOLDER

LOCATING THE VANSPACE 3D FOLDER
1. Windows Icon > Run.
2a. Type %appdata%
3.. Open the %appdata% File Folder
4. If the folder opens at ROAMING, the search has gone one step too far.
Select the file one step before named APPDATA.
5. Select LocalLow
Is the Localow folder hidden?Your system may be set up to hide various folders, so if Localow does not appear, take steps to reveal these folders. 👉️ Select Start - Control Panel - Appearance and personalisation - Folder options -View - Select SHOW HIDDEN FILES, FOLDERS AND DRIVES and finally, OK. 6 & 7. Select the VANSPACE 3D folder on both occasions.
8. For Screenshots and GIFS, select the SCREENSHOTS folder. For saved layouts, select the SAVES folder
SHARING LAYOUTS WITH ANOTHER VANSPACE 3D USER
Provided the .vs3d files are placed in the correct location, and the receiving end has its own vanspace 3D software installed, users can share their designs with others.
The kind of template the design was created in is important as it determines if one or two data files need to be shared, you will notice the name used when saving will also appear on the data files.
Premade template - savedname.vs3d
Custom Template - savedname.vs3d + savedname.PRESET.preset
Sending User
1. Locate the SAVES folder LOCATING THE SAVES FOLDER
2. Locate the relevant .vs3d file
3. If a custom template, also locate the same named file that is followed by Preset. preset
4. Attach to your chosen method of transfer, e.g. email etc. and send to the receiving user.
Receiving User
1. Download the received data file/s
2. Locate the SAVES folder on your system LOCATING THE SAVES FOLDER
3. Place the .vs3d file in this location
4. Also place the Preset.preset file in the same location if a custom template
5. Launch the software and open the layout Load your Saved Layout.

DROP IN A PRE-MADE LAYOUT
1. Once you have downloaded a pre-made layout available in the Inspiration tab of your online dashboard, it will be located within your downloads folder.
2. Drag and drop, or move the .vs3d file into the SAVES folder LOCATING THE VANSPACE 3D FOLDER
3. Launch the software and select the pre-made layout from the menu within the home screen.

All in-software images are saved in .PNG format,
All GIFS are saved in .GIF format
