Our Download is hosted by DropBox, which offers a secure and reliable platform; it would be very unusual for this host to experience any issues that would affect your download.
If receiving any DropBox errors when attempting to download, follow the checklist below.
CHECK ONE - LOG OUT OF DROPBOX |
If you have an existing Dropbox account, ensure that you are logged out, as you will download our software to your system, not your Dropbox.
CHECK TWO - USE FIREFOX PRIVATE BROWSING |
Switch to accessing your online dashboard via Firefox Private Browsing; this will bypass any settings or restrictions that your usual open browser may have in place. Continue to download.
To open a Private Browser Window in Firefox, click on the Firefox Menu in the upper-right-hand corner of the browser and select New Private Window. You can also use the shortcut Shift + ⌘ + P (on macOS) or Shift + CTRL + P (on Windows).
* If you already use this browser, make sure to clear the cache first.
CHECK THREE - VPN OR RESTRICTED COUNTRY? |
Dropbox (like other similar organizations) doesn't support access to some of its services in certain countries or regions, such as Crimea, North Korea, and Syria.
Ensure that you are not using an ISP or VPN that is not routed via one of these restricted countries
You will notice that your standard geographical IP address can sometimes show your location far away from where you are. In certain parts of the world, this could mean that you are routing through a restricted location.
In these conditions, we would recommend using a UK, Central US or European VPN
CHECK FOUR - REQUEST A DOWNLOAD VIA WETRANSFER |
Our Support Team can provide a transfer hosted by WeTransfer. Please contact us and advise if you require Mac, Win 32-bit or Win 64-bit
