BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
Go through our list below one by one in order, and attempt to launch your vanspace 3D after each step.
Restart your system
Rebooting is the simplest but no less effective step. It clears the cache memory and closes apps running silently in the background.
Run without Admin rights
1. Right-click on the vanspace 3D application and select Show More Options> Properties > Compatibility
2. Under Settings, Untick the check box next to Run this application as administrator
3. Select Apply
4. Double-click on the application to launch

Check for Windows updates
Microsoft updates contain bug fixes and updates, so keeping on top of them is critical.
- Click on the Start button.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon).
- Navigate to Windows Update.
- Click on Check for updates.
If updates are available, download and install them. Restart your computer afterwards.
Update graphics and hardware drivers
- Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand the categories and look for Display adapters.
- Right-click on your graphics card and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
After updating drivers, restart your computer.
Firewall and Antivirus
As vanspace 3D is unavailable in-store, you may have set up your protection to treat classic downloads differently. This could result in the app launching once but not again or not opening at all after the download.
- Open Windows Security:
- Click on the Start menu and type "Windows Security" in the search bar. Select the Windows Security app from the results.
- Access Virus & Threat Protection:
- In the Windows Security dashboard, click on "Virus & threat protection".
- View Protection History:
- Scroll down and click on "Protection history". This section shows all the items that have been blocked by Windows Defender.
- Select the Blocked File:
- Check to see if the vanspace 3D executable file is in the list of blocked items. Click on it to view more details.
- Allow the File:
- If it is, click on the "Actions" button (or drop-down menu) and select "Allow on device". You may need to confirm this action by clicking "Yes" in the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
- Add to Exclusions (Optional):
- If you want to prevent Windows Defender from scanning this file in the future, you can add it to the exclusions list. To do this, go back to the Virus & threat protection page, scroll down to "Exclusions", and click on "Manage exclusions". Then, click on "Add an exclusion" and select "File" to browse for your .exe file.
NEXT STEPS
If you have reached this point without resolution, it is essential to test whether you still experience the issue in your earlier versions of Windows.
As we know, our software is compatible with Windows 11 users; think of it like trying to start a car that works for everyone else, but not in your driveway.
Compatibility Mode is like moving it to a different driveway to see if it starts there. If it does, then we know the car’s fine—it’s something about your driveway.
1. Right-click on the vanspace 3D application and select Show More Options> Properties > Compatibility
2. Under Compatibility Mode, tick Run this program in compatibility mode for ... and select Windows 8 from the drop-down
3. Select Apply
4. Double-click on the vanspace 3D application to launch
