WINDOWS- PERMISSIONS AND CREATING EXCLUSIONS
If you run any of the below security features, they will have done their job during the download process.
✅ Anti Virus
✅ Windows Defender Security/ Defender
✅ Firewall
✅ Network-Wide AdBlocker (such as Pi-hole)
❌ VPNs are not recommended
It is quite common for users to set the levels of protections within their system securities aggressively high, which may not allow internet-downloaded software to run without issue. Simple permission adjustments will resolve this.

RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
When initially running the vanspace 3D set-up wizard, it was recommended that you run it with administrator rights. Downloading V3 on Windows
If this step was missed, right-click on the vanspace 3D application on your desktop, and select Run as administrator.
PERMISSIONS
1️⃣ Right-click on the vanspace3D application that should have been saved on your Desktop during downloading, and select PROPERTIES
2️⃣ Select SECURITIES from the tab options
3️⃣ Ensure all permissions are allowed, as in the below image

WINDOWS SECURITY/DEFENDER
Create an exclusion to all vanspace 3D folders in Windows Defender
1️⃣ Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
2️⃣ Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.
3️⃣ Select Add an exclusion and locate C:\Program Files (x86)\Vanspace 3D
The exclusion will have been applied to all subfolders within this folder.

WINDOWS FIREWALL
In particular, firewalls can cause connection, software display, and feature issues.
1️⃣ Create an Advanced Rule to allow the following URL's within the Firewall.
2️⃣ Click the “Start” button, type “inetcpl.cpl” (without quotation marks) in the “Search” bar, and then press “Enter”.
3️⃣ Switch to the “Security” tab, click "Trusted sites" and then click "Sites".
4️⃣Type the URL of the sites below in the "Add this Web site to the zone" box and click “Add”

5️⃣ Uncheck the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" box and click “Close”.
CREATING EXCLUSIONS IN OTHER ANTI-VIRUS AND FIREWALLS
You may also use other Anti Virus or Firewall protection; if so, it is important to create an exception to any vanspace or unity folders.
Using the popular ( but aggressive) BitDefender as an example below, when set 'High' by the user, a connection to our Server would not be possible.
1️⃣ To add an exception in Anti Virus https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/13427/
2️⃣ To allow an App in the Firewall https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/13425/
3️⃣ Create an Advanced Rule to allow the following URL's within the Firewall.

WHILE YOU ARE THERE
While you are dealing with your settings, pre-empt some other issues that could arise from running VPNs and ADBlockers
VPNs
Some VPNs also provide a filter on a network level rather than a system level, which will block the network traffic. This may cause you issues when attempting to log into your software.
Using a VPN may produce connection issues, a greyed-out software screen, and unresponsive features once the software is loaded.
1️⃣ If you are using a VPN whilst running vanspace software, we recommend disabling it.
NETWORK-WIDE ADBLOCKERS
Adblockers such as PiHole that block at the Network level rather than the system level may produce connection issues, a greyed-out software screen, or unresponsive features once the software is loaded.
We recommend creating an exclusion to vanspace and unity within the settings at the very least, although disabling will be more beneficial to troubleshoot.
